SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
SLIT, DOME ROTATION AND MIRROR COVER
To open the slit, rotate the dome, or open the mirror cover
in completely manual mode go into the control room and
turn the SELECT key to Manual on the Manual Override Panel (MOP)
shown below.
Then turn the appropriate knobs.
Once the dome power comes on, (the Reliance controller
on the outside wall will illuminate: picture below)
Note:Remember to flip it back to Auto when done.
RAISING THE PLATFORM
The power to the platform and the dome azimuth
is unfortunately controlled by computer.
It can be turned on using either of two ways:
- Logged into computer type
tx power dome=on
- Flip SELECT switch to manual as shown above and then rotate dome a bit

Once the power is on use press the appropriate button on the outside wall
You can rotate dome now too.
