Options

maxtime= option sets the maximum number of seconds the program will run. It must be specified.

track= - causes the specified track command to be transmitted. This updates the tracking rate and will keep the track alive for another hour (see rctel for details). NOTE: use quotations if the command has spaces.

dome - causes the dome center comand to be sent (see rctel for details).

pid= - forces the keepopen command to stay alive as long as the parent process exists.

nofork - makes the command blocking until it terminates.

The commands are sent every 60 seconds as long as all the conditions are met. If the slit is closed or if the weather changes and the slit must close, the slit will close the keepopen command and exit with a non-zero exit code.

keepopen executes the first cycle immediately and if there is a problem (e.g. the slit is closed or it is raining) it exits immediately with a non-zero exit code. If there is more than one cycle (i.e. maxtime > 60 seconds) then the program forks and executes in the background.
