Usage

guidestar [nomad] [last] [nostage]

guidestar is a utility script that does the following:

• determines where the telescope is pointing (tx where)
• creates a list of guidestars in the neighborhood (bright tycho)
• finds the brightest unvignetted one (setstage)
• positions the stage (tx stage)

Use guidestar when manually pointing the telescope to find a suitable guide star.

nomad option changes the search to the nomad database which goes fainter than the Tycho catalog, but uses a web service than is occasionally down.

nostage option does not position the stage.
