Near Position Search

The near position search allows you to find all observations taken within a certain distance of a given RA and Dec. Input parameters are:

• RA and Dec (given in either Sexagesimal or degrees)
• Search radius (in arcmin). The default is 2 arc minutes.
• Display options are:
  • RA
  • Dec
  • Observer
  • Image Type
  • Exposure
  • Filter
  • Date

  Uncheck the Bell and Crimea boxes so that it only looks for RCT data (that makes the search a little quicker if nothing else).

  Once you have set up your search parameters, click "Execute Search" or to start again press "Restore to defaults".
