Usage

guide cycles= [offset=] [pid=] [time=]

guide starts the guider to operate once the telescope has been positioned, the xy stage placed in the right place and the guide star centered (acquired) on the guider CCD. This program reads the guider camera, has it compute the centroid of the guide star image and then move the telescope to keep the image centered.

The guider operates in the following manner:

1. takes guider image
2. finds centroid
3. if centroid is lousy, exits
4. calculates offset
5. offsets the telescope
6. loops

Note: the file gdarkN.fits where N is the time in seconds must be found in the directory that the guider is operating in. If it doesn't exist, it is created with the gdark script.
