NAME

lst - calculates the local sidereal time

SYNOPSIS

lst [iso=yyyy-mm-ddTHH:MM:SSZ] [decimal] [site=] [help] [nodut]

DESCRIPTION

This program prints out the local sidereal time in hh:mm:ss time. It assumes that the UNIX clock is correct and derives the longitude from the telescope server using the tel_status command.

OPTIONS

nodut- disables DUT (delta UT) calculations.

iso= calculates for the ISO date time.

decimal - prints out the local sidereal time in decimal degrees.

site= uses the attached string to set the site location rather than the server. The string should contain the keywords:

The usual XPC options (port etc) are available too.
