pspeed - calculates the speed of the PMAC

SYNOPSIS

pspeed [ether=esr904,4003] [motor=1] [ppdeg=] [dist=] [step= | t=] [mode=jog|prog|home] [follow] [debug..]

DESCRIPTION

pspeed - reads connected PMAC and calculates the speeds, accelerations and movetimes.

OPTIONS

ether= specifies the IP (and port) of the PMAC. This overrides the PMAC environment variable.

motor= specifies the motor number.

ppdeg= specifies the number of pulses per degree. Use with caution as it will override that set by rtel.

mode= specifies whether to use jog, program, or home mode.

dist= specifies the optional number of steps (or degrees) to move.

step= specifies the optional number of time steps in seconds to generate a move profile. The dist parameter must also be specified.

t= specifies a single time to calculate distance. The dist parameter must also be specified.

follow - reports the various types of following errors.

debug can be repeated for even more printout.
