The following is a demonstration of insgen for a Messier Marathon.
The Figure is similar to the graphs generated by the
Request generator
This demo has the following properties:
- Done with phony telescope for late iso=2010-02-10T00:00:00Z
- Each request is 340 seconds long
- Each has equal priority
Things to notice:
- The requests at the top of the graph up to 136 were not scheduled as they are barely or never up
- The first requests (eg 245) is a Sunstart
- The first requests (eg 166) are observed to the West as they set
(red right of yellow)
- Subsequent requests are observed close to the meridian
- isolated requests like 169 and 178 are done exactly at transit
- At Dawn the telescope swings Eastward (red left of yellow)
