sterm - opens a shell in service mode

SYNOPSIS

sterm
DESCRIPTION
This script opens a new orange colored xterm, with an environment varible set to transmit a password so the telescope control programs can operate in service mode locking out other users from controlling things.

The terminal should be closed by typing exit or hitting Cntrl^D. If you kill the terminal, the service mode will hang and have to be cleared by the arcane procedure described in the instructions.
