The CCD

The RCT CCD is a 2048x2048 pixel square CCD manufactured by SITe; the model is SI-424AB, serial no. 98361AABR01-01. This CCD is backside-illuminated and anti-reflection coated. Four amplifiers (one on each corner) are available to readout the chip, either singly or in combination. The pixels are 24 microns across and cosmetically the CCD is grade 0 (the best). Multi-pinned phase readouts are an option. Non-linearity occurs near 150k electrons, the full well depth is near 250k electrons.
