CCD Throughput

Observations of a standard star field from Landolt were taken to estimate the system throughput during Spring 2004. The table below gives the number of electrons detected per second for a star of magnitude 0 when observed at an airmass of 1.0 (with good conditions):

Table 3.3: CCD Throughput
Filter Electrons/second
  (Mag = 0, airmass = 1.0)
R 3.9e9
V 2.8e9
B 2.2e9
U 3.4e8
