Great news, everyone!

The RCT has been running for two nights, and there are no present issues.  Kevin’s blowers are doing what they need to do, and the dome is opening and closing properly.   Additionally, we’re getting pretty circular objects due to the guider and the tracking in sync.

I’ll still keep an eye on the dome like always, but it seems things are back to normal.  I’ll start working on an airbag model for the sky.

Good afternoon all,

The dome seems to be working.  I’ve tried some opens and closes with no issues, and it seems to be opening and closing even quicker than before.

Luis, Don, and Larry cleaned the rails, connector ‘shoes’, and the dome power relay box (see below, respectively).

As for the camera, Luis and Larry inspected the camera and saw no LEDs on but also no physical issues with the power.  Kevin has time to come up today and will be inspecting it, so fingers crossed.
